Located in a frontier island community at the Stikine River mouth, the lodge has been family-built and operated since 1984. Fishing charters can be arranged on site, and the hotel provides complimentary transportation to various attractions such as Tongass National Forest trail heads and Petroglyph Beach State Historic Park, 2 miles away. Whether standing on a glacier, reeling in a salmon, or watching a black bear catch dinner, recreation options abound in the Stikine-Leconte Wilderness, Shoemaker Bay Recreation Area, and the Tongass National Forest.
